Jim Wallis is president and founder of Sojourners, a nonprofit faith-based organization for social justice. He is editor in chief of Sojourners magazine and website, a public theologian, national preacher, social activist, and international commentator on ethics and public life. Wallis has written a dozen books, including, most recently, America’s Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege, and the Bridge to a New America; The (Un)Common Good;and the best-sellers God’s Politics and The Great Awakening. He teaches at Georgetown University and has taught at Harvard. Wallis served on the White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships and chaired the Global Agenda Council on Values of the World Economic Forum.
