Thomas Daschle is founder and CEO of The Daschle Group, A Public Policy Advisory of Baker Donelson. Representing South Dakota from 1987 to 2005, Daschle is the only senator to have served twice as both majority and minority leader. Prior to that he served eight years in the US House of Representatives. An expert on health policy reform, Daschle has written two books on the topic. He is also a thinker on climate change, food security, and renewable energy policy and currently co-chairs The Cuba Consortium. He is board chair at the Center for American Progress, vice chair for the National Democratic Institute, and co-founder of the Bipartisan Policy Center.
