Vivek Wadhwa is a distinguished fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering, researching advancing technologies in robotics, AI, computing, synthetic biology, 3D printing, medicine, and nanomaterials, and teaching subjects such as technology, industry disruption, entrepreneurship, and public policy. A faculty member at Singularity University, he has held appointments at Duke University, Stanford Law School, Harvard Law School, and Emory University and founded two software companies. A Washington Post columnist, Wadhwa authored The Driver in the Driverless Car, The Immigrant Exodus, and Innovating Women. His honors include being named a Foreign Policy magazine Top 100 Global Thinker and TIME’s Tech40, as well an Outstanding American by Choice by the US government.
