Aliza Pressman, MD, is a developmental psychologist with nearly two decades of experience working with families and the health care providers who care for them. She is an assistant clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and co-founding director of The Mount Sinai Parenting Center. Pressman is a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher from the Greater Good Science Center at University of California, Berkeley. She is the New York Times bestselling author of “The 5 Principles of Parenting: Your Essential Guide to Raising Good Humans,” and host of the “Raising Good Humans” podcast. Pressman holds an MA in Risk, Resilience and Prevention and PhD in developmental psychology from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
