Americus Reed is the Whitney M. Young Jr. Professor of Marketing at University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He teaches customer analysis, branding and consumer psychology to undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and executive students. Reed has over 25 years of experience in social psychological analysis of how identity interfaces with business and is the author of 50 articles, book chapters and cases on the topic. He is a recipient of the Society for Consumer Psychology’s 2023 Distinguished Scientific Contribution Award.
