Ash Bhat is a tech entrepreneur working on projects around social impact. In 2017, he co-launched RoBhat Labs, which focuses on tackling the spread of fake news and misinformation. In 2014, he founded Tetherball, a company that builds peer-to-peer solutions for internet connectivity and was acquired in 2015. During his junior year of high school, Bhat dropped out of school and co-founded 1StudentBody, where he built applications used in over one-third of US high schools, recruited and led the mobile engineering team, and helped raise millions of dollars in venture capital. At age 16, he sold a software company that built personalized mobile applications for high schools and school districts.
