Ashley Edwards is founder and CEO of MindRight Health. Edwards is the first Black female founder to raise $1 million in venture capital in New Jersey and, at the time, was one of 35 to ever to do so in the United States. She is a Forbes 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur and her thought leadership in mental health innovation led Forbes to name her one of the top "Healers" set to influence the next century. Previously, she served as director of operations of a high school in Newark, N.J. Outside of work, Edwards coaches aspiring entrepreneurs at Stanford Graduate School of Business and has served on various impact, racial equity, and mental health advisory councils at Forbes, Zoom, and NewSchools Venture Fund.
