Candace Parker

Candace Parker is a retired professional basketball player and president of Adidas Women’s Basketball. She most recently played for the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky, winning championships with each team. Parker previously had a long career with the Los Angeles Sparks. She was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft, after leading the University of Tennessee Lady Vols to NCAA championships in 2007 and 2008. The first player to earn WNBA MVP and Rookie of the Year in the same season (2008), Parker was named Finals MVP after leading the Sparks to the 2016 WNBA title. Other honors include three WNBA All-Star nods, the 2013 WNBA All-Star Game MVP Award and leading Team USA to gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. She also covers the NBA and NCAA Tournament for Turner Sports.
