Celinda Lake is president of Lake Research Partners and a pollster and political strategist for progressives. She was one of two main pollsters for Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, and her polling and strategic advice has helped elect Democratic candidates such as Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Jon Tester and Senator Debbie Stabenow Lake has focused especially on women’s concerns and women candidates, including Representative Nancy Pelosi and former governor Janet Napolitano. She worked for the largest independent expenditure to take back the House for Democrats in 2006 and in campaigns for the AFL-CIO, Planned Parenthood and other progressive groups. Lake co-authored the books “What Women Really Want” with Republican pollster Kellyanne Conway and “A Question of Respect.”
