Debbie Millman is a designer, brand consultant, educator, curator, writer and illustrator. She hosts the Webby Award-winning podcast “Design Matters,” one of the world’s first and longest-running podcasts, and co-founded and chairs the first-ever master’s program in branding at the School of Visual Arts. Co-owner and editorial director of Print magazine, Millman has authored seven books on design and branding, most recently “Why Design Matters: Conversations with the World’s Most Creative People.” She was previously president and chief marketing officer of Sterling Brands, where she worked for over 20 years. Her writing and illustrations have been widely published, and her artwork displayed globally. Millman’s honors include a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from AIGA, the professional association for design where she’s president emeritus.
