Elaine Genser leads engagement and partnerships for the U.N. Joint SDG Fund, which blends member states’ contributions with private sector investments to achieve the U.N.’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. With over three decades of financial leadership experience, she has spent the past 13 years mobilizing private sector resources for global institutions, including (prior to the U.N.) the World Economic Forum and World Bank. Earlier in her career, Genser worked at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan. She is a trustee and non-executive director of the Anglo American Foundation (U.K. and South Africa). A Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, she’s also a Responsible Leader of the BMW Foundation and a member of the Global Impact Leaders at Sorenson Impact Center.
