Kamar Sati

Kamar Sati is a Bezos Scholar. Born in Damascus, Syria, into Arab Muslim culture, Sati carries a piece of her heritage everywhere she goes. As a bilingual speaker and one of her school’s speech team captains, Sati recognizes language’s significance, power, and weight. She founded the Muslim Student Association at her high school, where she also helps facilitate interfaith conversations and forge connections between students with different identities. Sati is passionate about helping people develop an understanding of other cultures and religions to create more inclusive, equitable spaces.
