Kelly Wanser
Founder and Executive Director, SilverLining
Kelly Wanser is the founder and executive director of SilverLining, a nonprofit addressing near-term climate risks. There, she leads efforts to promote scientific research, science-based policies and international collaboration in response to climate change. Prior to this, Wanser co-founded, and is senior adviser to, the University of Washington Marine Cloud Brightening Project. Previously, she assisted with ocean-climate risk at Ocean Conservancy and developed industry strategy for fusion energy at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Wanser also founded companies in IT infrastructure, security and networking. Early in her career, Wanser was a corporate strategy consultant in London. She is an adviser to Dendra Systems, which uses automation and AI to restore natural ecosystems. Wanser is a member of the National Academy of Sciences President's Circle.
