Deming enrolled at MIT at age 14 to study physics. At 17, she was selected as a Thiel Fellow under the “20 Under 20" initiative and left MIT to start The Longevity Fund, the first venture capital firm dedicated to funding early-stage biotech companies working to extend human lifespan. Deming has been featured in Forbes' “30 Under 30” and the National Geographic documentary "The Age of Aging" and has spoken at TEDMED and the Singularity Summit.
