Manish Arora is the Edith J. Baerwald Professor of Environmental Medicine and Public Health and vice chairman of the department of environmental medicine and climate science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. A founding member of the Mount Sinai Institute for Exposomic Research, Arora directs its environmental exposure and precision environmental medicine laboratories, leading a team of more than 50 scientists who are advancing research in diseases that are national health priorities. His research focuses on the effects of prenatal and early life exposures on life-long health trajectories. Arora is the founder and CEO of Linus Biotechnology, a company that uses innovative precision medicine approaches to bridge genomics and the environment to transform the way complex health conditions are diagnosed and treated.
