Mike Madrid is a principal of Grassroots Lab, a public relations and political consulting firm. A veteran political consultant and expert on Latino voters, he is also a co-founder of the Lincoln Project, an organization of conservatives who oppose Donald Trump and Trumpism, and editor and publisher of California City News. Madrid has previously been the public affairs director for the League of California Cities, press secretary for the California Assembly Republican leader and political director of the California Republican Party. He has been a senior advisor to both Democrats and Republicans and helped develop the Leadership California Institute. In 2001, he was named one of America’s Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine.
