Molly Ball is a staff writer covering US politics for The Atlantic. She previously reported for POLITICO, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and Las Vegas Sun and has worked for newspapers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Cambodia, as well as for The New York Times and The Washington Post. Ball has received the Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting, the Sandy Hume Memorial Award for Excellence in Political Journalism, and the Lee Walczak Award for Political Analysis. She appears regularly on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” CBS’s “Face the Nation,” PBS’s “Washington Week,” and others. Ball received a 2009 Knight-Wallace journalism fellowship at University of Michigan.
