Perri Peltz is a documentary filmmaker, journalist and public health advocate. She most recently co-directed and co-produced the HBO documentary news series, “Axios.” Peltz also directed or produced “Alternate Endings: Six New Ways to Die in America,” “Warning: This Drug May Kill You” about the opioid epidemic, “Risky Drinking,” “Remembering the Artist: Robert De Niro, Sr.” and “Prison Dogs,” all on HBO. She was co-director of “A Conversation About Growing Up Black” for The New York Times OpDocs “Conversation on Race” series. Prior to documentaries, Peltz was a journalist and anchor with NBC, ABC, and CNN and worked at the Robin Hood Foundation. She earned a doctorate in public health at Columbia University in 2023 and hosts “The Perri Peltz Show” on SiriusXM.
