Rhaina Cohen is a producer and editor for NPR’s documentary podcast, “Embedded.” Her work, which often focuses on social connection, has aired on numerous podcasts and radio shows including “Hidden Brain,” “Invisibilia” and “All Things Considered.” Cohen is the author of "The Other Significant Others: Reimagining Life with Friendship at the Center." Her writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The New Republic, The Washington Post and other publications. Cohen’s Atlantic article “What If Friendship, Not Marriage, Was at the Center of Life?” was named a best of 2020 article by Longreads and Pocket.
