Richard Reeves is president of the American Institute for Boys and Men, which he founded in 2023 to raise awareness about boys’ and men’s challenges and to develop solutions. He was previously a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, where he focused on economic inequality, racial justice, social mobility and boys and men. Earlier in his career, Reeves worked as strategy director to the U.K. deputy prime minister, director of Demos, a research fellow at the Institute for Policy Research and as a journalist and editor. A writer for a wide range of publications, he has authored several books, including most recently “Of Boys and Men: Why the Modern Male Is Struggling, Why It Matters, and What to do About It.”
