Robert Kenney is president of Xcel Energy’s Colorado Operating Company. He is focused on delivering service to the firm’s 1.6 million electric and 1.5 million gas customers. Kenney has more than 30 years of leadership, legal, regulatory, public policy, and external affairs experience. Previously, he was chief of staff to the Missouri attorney general and then chair of the Missouri Public Service Commission. Kenney was also a shareholder at AmLaw 100. Kenney began his career as an attorney at law.
