Roy Bahat
Head, Bloomberg Beta
Roy Bahat is the head of Bloomberg Beta, a venture capital firm focused on the future of work and artificial intelligence. Bahat is also a faculty member of U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he teaches courses on media and organized labor. Prior to this, Bahat created #thisisnotadvice, a community-edited guide on how to work, and co-hosted the [Going to Work] conference on work in America. Previously, he was a commissioner on the California Governor’s Future of Work Commission and worked with New America to understand the long-term effect of technology on work in America. Bahat chairs the Aspen Business Roundtable on Organized Labor. He was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business.
