Abigail Wulf is vice president and director of the Ambassador Alfred Hoffman Jr. Center for Critical Minerals Strategy at SAFE (Securing America’s Future Energy), a nonprofit advancing transformative transportation technology to enhance energy security. She brings broad Earth science expertise to the Center, from researching rare earth- and lithium-rich pegmatites to working with NASA researchers to convey the connections between Earth’s component systems. Previously, Wulf was the senior science communicator for research in NASA’s Earth Science Division and policy manager for the American Geosciences Institute, where she co-led its Minerals Science and Information Coalition. Earlier in her career, her roles included science policy reporter at Earth Magazine and public affairs intern at the American Geophysical Union.
