Alison Rempel Brown is the president and CEO of the Science Museum of Minnesota. In this role, she has positioned the museum as a place for conversations about topics such as race, mental health and climate change. Brown also initiated a program highlighting the potential of engineering careers and oversaw the adoption of statements on equity and inclusion, global climate change and evolution. Previously, she was chief of staff at the California Academy of Sciences, where she focused on institutional growth and enhanced visitor experiences. Brown is a board member of the American Alliance of Museums and Minnesota Private College Consortium. Her recognition includes being named one of Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s people to watch and receiving its Women in Business award.
