Alissa Figueroa
Investigative Reporter and Producer, Fusion
Alissa Figueroa is an investigative reporter and producer for Fusion, a television cable and satellite channel owned by Univision. In the last three years she has reported primarily on the criminal and military justice systems, but has covered various topics from finance and immigration to elections and politics. She came to Fusion from NBC News, where she was an assistant producer working on “Rock Center” and “NBC Nightly News.” Figueroa’s work has also appeared on “Nightline” by ABC, Univision’s “Aqui y Ahora,” “Marketplace,” “PBS NewsHour,” and in the Christian Science Monitor. She was a 2016 Livingston Award finalist in the national news category for a feature-length documentary, Prison Kids.
