Amanda Edwards

Amanda Edwards is an at-large member of Houston City Council and an attorney. She serves as vice chair of the Budget and Fiscal Affairs Committee and serves on the Economic Development and Transportation, Technology and Infrastructure committees. She also leads the Mayor’s Task Force for Technology and Innovation and serves as co-vice chair of the Houston-Galveston Area Council Transportation Policy Council High Capacity Transit Task Force. A native Houstonian with a passion for building communities through public service, Edwards strives to innovatively address the city’s fiscal challenges and its urban core needs to move Houston forward so that it can be the place where the Gulf Coast and the world’s future meet.
