Amy Cortese is Editorial Director and leads climate coverage for ImpactAlpha, an award-winning news site/newsletter that covers the impact investing field. She has covered technology, business, and food and wine as an editor at Business Week, a longtime contributor to The New York Times, and a freelancer for many other publications. She is the author of ‘Locavesting,’ a book about the local investment movement that took root in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz called it ‘an inspiring look at what local businesses can achieve.’ Amy has given talks from Maui to Seoul, South Korea. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her partner Robert.
