Andrea Aicardi is vice president of growth at Neosensory, a brain-machine interface startup that focuses on the creation of new senses for humans. Over the last decade, Aicardi has worked on a number of startup projects in Silicon Valley, including SquareTrade and iCracked, leading to multibillion dollar acquisitions. He has researched macroeconomics at The University of Tokyo under vice minister of finance Takatoshi Ito. Aicardi has also published two internationally acclaimed techno albums under the moniker of Sentient, exploring the neuroaesthetics of electronic music and the boundaries of perception. He sits on the board of Soundworks, an award-winning startup that leverages principles of psychoacoustics to create meditation experiences guided by avantgarde musical compositions.
