Andrew Plepler is global head of environmental, social, and governance for Bank of America, managing programs including financing the transition to low-carbon and helping advance economic mobility in local communities. He chairs the bank’s National Community Advisory Council, which provides external perspective and advises the bank on responsible business practices. Before joining Bank of America in 2003, Plepler was senior vice president of housing and community initiatives at Fannie Mae Foundation, a trial attorney for the US Justice Department, and counsel to the US Senate Judiciary Committee. He serves on the boards of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Living Cities Inc., and Levine Museum of the New South.
