Andrew McAfee is a principal research scientist at MIT and co-founder of its Initiative on the Digital Economy, studying how digital technologies are changing business, the economy, and society. With Erik Brynjolfsson, McAffee co-authored Machine, Platform, Crowd: Harnessing Our Digital Future and The New York Times best-seller The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, and Prosperity in a Time of Brilliant Technologies. He has written for publications including Harvard Business Review, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and The New York Times and has talked about his work on “The Charlie Rose Show” and “60 Minutes,” in addition to many other audiences.
