Andy Van Kleunen is the founder and CEO of National Skills Coalition, making inclusive, quality skills training available to every worker in the U.S. Prior to this, he was director of workforce policy for the Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute, working with employers, unions, and client advocates to improve job quality and training for low-wage workers within the nation’s long-term care sector. Previously, Van Kleunen spent over 14 years in community organizing and development efforts in low-income and working-class neighborhoods of New York City. An expert on workforce and education policy issues, he has testified before Congress and spoken at White House policy forums.
