Angela Gichaga is CEO of Financing Alliance for Health, where she assists developing countries’ ministries of health and finance in building primary and community health systems. An executive coach and human capital and leadership development advisor, she runs her tailor-made Pathway to Parity program to empower women and young people in the workplace and society. Gichaga previously consulted on socio-economic and development issues in Africa for McKinsey & Company. Before that, she worked for Kenya’s ministry of health, as a health economist, medical superintendent, and district medical officer. A global board member of Population Services International, Gichaga received a Skoll Award in 2022, was named one of Fortune’s World’s Greatest Leaders in 2018, and was a 2014 Mandela Washington Fellow, among others.
