Angela Rye is principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, a political advocacy, social impact, and racial equity firm that she co-founded in 2006. She is the host of the podcast “On One with Angela Rye,” a former commentator on CNN, and has appeared on “The Breakfast Club” radio show, TV One, ABC, and BET, where her news programs were nominated for NAACP Image Awards. Rye served as executive director and general counsel to the Congressional Black Caucus for the 112th Congress, from 2011 to 2013. Previously, she was senior advisor and counsel to the US House Committee on Homeland Security and the coordinator of advocacy and legislative affairs for the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education.
