Anita Goel is founder, chairman, and CEO of Nanobiosym, a research institute and incubator at the nexus of physics, biomedicine, and nanotechnology, and a pioneer in nanobiophysics. Her numerous affiliations include the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, Harvard Physics Department, Beyond Institute for Fundamental Concepts in Physics, and Center for Healthcare Innovation. She testified before the US Senate in support of the National Nanotechnology Initiative and advised President Obama’s Strategy for American Innovation. A frequent keynote speaker and distinguished faculty lecturer, Goel was named by MIT’s Technology Review Magazine as one of the world’s top 35 science and technology innovators and has been recognized globally with numerous honors and awards.
