Ann Kim

Ann Kim is director of health and well-being at IDEO Cambridge, where her portfolio spans the design of HIV-prevention products, digital tools to help kids build emotional strength, and the redesign of the US digital immigration experience. Kim was chief design officer for former US surgeon general Vivek Murthy from 2016 to 2017. A filmmaker and journalist for over a decade, her credits including the award-winning PBS “Frontline” shows, “The Age of AIDS” and “Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick?”. Her latest film, Lovesick, is about matchmaking for HIV-positive singles in India. She is a board member of Noora Health and the Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship.
