Anna-Lisa Miller
Executive Director, Ownership Works
Anna-Lisa Miller is the executive director of Ownership Works, a nonprofit that partners with companies and investors to implement employee-ownership programs. Prior to this, she was the development director at Project Equity, a peer organization helping local businesses and communities pursue employee ownership. Previously, Miller was chief operating officer of The Kohala Center, a Hawaii-based sustainable-development organization, where she led programs from shared ownership to watershed restoration and was an executive committee member of the Hawaii lieutenant governor’s farm to school program. She began her career as a corporate attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison, practicing corporate and public finance law in New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., for five years.
