Anne Neuberger is assistant deputy director of the National Security Agency’s Operations Directorate, co-leading foreign intelligence, cybersecurity, and information assurance operations. Prior roles at NSA include chief risk officer and building partnerships on cybersecurity initiatives. Neuberger was the US Navy’s deputy chief management officer, a White House Fellow working for the defense secretary, and senior vice president of operations at American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, which she joined as a software programmer. A guest lecturer on surveillance and privacy, Neuberger founded and runs a not-for-profit serving single moms and children and serves on boards for House of Ruth Maryland, Stern College, and Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic. She received the 2017 Presidential Rank Award.
