Austin Channing Brown is an author, speaker, and media producer who provides inspired leadership on racial justice in America. The CEO of Herself Media, she is The New York Times and USA Today best-selling author of I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness. Channing Brown is co-host and executive producer of the video web series on racial justice, “The Next Question.” She contributed to the anthology, You Are the Best Thing, and to the essay collection Hungry Hearts. She leads workshops and trainings and creates content that centers experiences of Black women. Channing Brown started her career in the nonprofit world, with a focus on homelessness and housing, youth engagement, and church operations.
