Beatriz Acevedo is co-founder and CEO of Suma Wealth, a platform focused on closing the Latinx wealth gap. Previously, she co-founded and was president of mitú, a digital media brand for young Latinos in America, and created the Accelerator Program, which provides mentorship initiatives for multicultural storytellers. A developer and producer of many original television shows, Acevedo started her career in media on radio and then on television. Her work has earned her three Emmys, an MTV Music Award, and a Media Correspondent Award, among others. A public speaker on diversity as good business, female leadership, and the economic impact of Latinos in America, her board and advisory committee service includes Annenberg Foundation's PledgeLA, Homeboy Industries, and National Hispanic Media Coalition.
