Bob Tedeschi is a senior writer for STAT, the national life-science publication launched by the Boston Globe Media Group in 2015. He has covered myriad topics, including concussions in sports, health care disparities, psychosocial effects of new cancer treatments, and end-of-life issues. Tedeschi, who also creates children’s educational software, was previously a columnist and feature writer for The New York Times for 16 years, covering business technology, personal technology, personal finance, and travel, among many others. He has been an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and a freelance writer and producer. Early in his career, Tedeschi was a business writer for the Connecticut Post.
