Brandice Canes-Wrone is a political science professor and senior fellow with the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. She is also the Donald E. Stokes Professor of Public and International Affairs and a politics professor at Princeton University, where she is director of the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics. Canes-Wrone is the director of the Center for Revitalizing American Institutions. Previously, she was a faculty member of MIT and Northwestern University. The author of Who Leads Whom? Presidents, Policy, and the Public, her work has appeared in American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, and British Journal of Political Science, among others. Canes-Wrone is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
