Brandon Hill, artist and co-founder of No Kings Collective, draws on his fascination with materiality, history, and the urban landscape to shape his multidisciplinary art practice. Hill’s work spans from one-inch sculptures made from Legos to murals that wrap full buildings. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum and has been shown across the country. Two of his all-time-favorite projects are the “Work It Gurl” mural for Whitman Walker Health Center and the left field mural at the Nationals Stadium in Washington. Hill also co-founded All Day Projects, a public art and murals group, and Please Bring Chips, a Washington-based food collective. He has worked with summer art programs and murals workshops with KIPP DC and District of Columbia Public Schools.
