Brooke D. Anderson is president of Pivotal Ventures, leading a team of strategists leveraging philanthropy, venture capital and advocacy to help remove barriers that hold women—and all people—back. Anderson has served as senior advisor to U.S. presidents, cabinet secretaries, members of Congress, presidential candidates, philanthropists and business leaders, helping to guide key decisions on important issues from the state of caregiving to global diplomacy. Her career spans over three decades of leadership in government roles, including U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and senior advisor to the Secretary of State and the Under Secretary for Political Affairs on the Iran Nuclear Negotiations, leading the team charged with developing the agreement’s implementation plan. Anderson serves on the board of directors of the Nuclear Threat Initiative, a nonprofit, nonpartisan global security organization focused on reducing nuclear and biological threats.
