Butch Spyridon is president and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp,since 1991. Under his leadership, the NCVC has led the development of Nashville’s hospitality industry, and Music City has evolved into a global, year-round destination — generating over $6.5 billion in visitor spending, seeing hotel demand grow faster than any other top 30 US city since 2013, and being named a top destination by multiple publications. Spyridon serves on the U.S. Travel Association Executive Committee and as secretary-treasurer of Destinations International. His accolades include the Nashville Sales Executive of the Year Award, Meeting Professionals International’s President’s Award, and the Stephen Foster Award from Nashville Songwriters Association International.
