Carolina Giraldo

Carolina Giraldo is a resident physician at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2024. Prior to this, Giraldo worked for University of Pennsylvania for two years, conducting research on HIV. There, she began planning, carrying out and troubleshooting her own experiments. Previously, Giraldo earned her bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall, which she attended on a full scholarship. She was born in Medellin, Colombia, and immigrated to the United States with her parents and brother.
