Carolyn Cawley is president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and senior vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She oversees the chamber and foundation’s shared America Works workforce initiative. Cawley also leads foundation initiatives in partnership with Fortune 100 companies and philanthropies, including its first incubator to speed exploration of emerging issues and test solutions for the next decade of challenges. Previously, she was a partner at FleishmanHillard communications consultancy. Earlier in her career, Cawley was a member of President George H.W. Bush’s speech writing staff and an aide to California Governor Pete Wilson. She is a member of Fast Company’s Impact Council and the International Women’s Forum.
