Filmmaker, Director, "No Ordinary Campaign"
Chris Burke is the director of the feature documentary No Ordinary Campaign, chronicling the patient-led revolution to remake the landscape in the fight against ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. He began documenting the movement when his college friend Brian Wallach was diagnosed with ALS, and has spent the last three years traversing the country to capture the momentum Wallach’s nonprofit I AM ALS started. Burke’s previous work includes the Emmy-winning PBS documentary Bloody Thursday, detailing the struggle for unionization by the dockworkers of 1930s San Francisco, and creating numerous shows and specials for networks including A&E, truTV, Food Network, and Discovery.
