Chris Jennings is president of Jennings Policy Strategies, a health care consulting firm, and a Senior Fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center, where he works to develop health reform policies. Previously, he was senior advisor to President Obama for health policy and coordinator of health reform, having served in a similar capacity for President Clinton for eight years. Since 1992, Jennings has advised eight presidential campaigns, the 2008 and 2016 Democratic Platform Drafting Committees, and multiple gubernatorial and Senate candidates. As deputy director of the Special Committee on Aging for three US senators, he led reform efforts on long-term care, prescription drug coverage/cost containment, and rural health care.
