Cody Friesen is founder and CEO of SOURCE Global. An innovator and business leader who uses advanced technology to solve humanity’s essential challenges, he and his team developed the SOURCE® Hydropanel, a technology that sustainably produces drinking water using sunlight and air and independent of infrastructure. He is also the Fulton Engineering Professor of Innovation at Arizona State University and senior sustainability scientist at ASU Global Institute of Sustainability. Previously, Friesen founded Nant Energy (formerly Fluidic Energy), an advanced battery company that powers remote grids worldwide, and served two terms co-chairing the US Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council Energy Subcommittee. Holding more than 180 patents, he has also been an Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow, an MIT Lemelson Award recipient, and was named to MIT Technology Review’s 2009 list of the top 35 innovators under 35 years old. Cody is 2022 McNulty Prize Winner.
