Cortney Koenig Worrall is president and CEO of Waterfront Alliance. She has expertise in climate resilience policy, campaign planning, community outreach and public participation processes. Worrall has led the organization to victories in comprehensive flood risk disclosure laws, securing national clients for its Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines program and influencing state and city policy for climate resilience. A leadership adviser to the Climate Exchange at Governors Island, she is a member of New York City Bureau of Coastal Resilience expert advisory group, New York City Sustainability advisory board, and Hudson Canyon National Marine Sanctuary advisory council. Previously, Worrall led the National Parks Conservation Association’s northeast office. There, she developed and led the campaign for Stonewall National Monument, designated by President Obama in 2016.
